This is a 70-minute short-form IELTS Academic test that samples every part of the exam so Courselo can estimate your band in each skill and build your study plan.
| Section | Time | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Listening | 12 min | 4 short recordings (one per Part), 16 marks, each played once |
| Reading | 20 min | 2 Academic passages, 14 questions |
| Writing | 30 min | Short-form Task 1 (report on a chart, at least 100 words) and Task 2 (essay, at least 180 words) |
| Speaking | about 8 min | Part 1 (4 questions), Part 2 (1 minute to prepare, up to 2 minutes to talk), Part 3 (2 questions) |
Work in real exam conditions: no dictionary, no translator, no pausing or replaying audio, no notes except in Speaking Part 2 preparation. Type Listening answers while you listen and check spelling at the end — misspelled answers score zero. Follow every word limit exactly.
The Writing tasks are shorter than the real ones (the real test needs 150 and 250 words in 20 and 40 minutes); they are graded against the same four criteria. Your result is an estimate: take the full mocks for an exam-accurate band.
Your score arrives with section scores, a breakdown by topic, your time on every question and each answer explained. Questions you miss join your review queue, and written and spoken answers get an examiner’s report.
