| Academic Reading | 60 min | 3 passages of increasing difficulty, 40 questions; no extra transfer time |
| Academic Writing | 60 min | Task 1: report on visual information (at least 150 words, about 20 min). Task 2: essay (at least 250 words, about 40 min) — Task 2 counts double |

Rules: Listening, Reading and Writing run back to back with no breaks, as in the real test. Do not pause or replay audio. No dictionaries, translators or notes. Write answers in the boxes exactly as required by each word limit; spelling counts; British or American spelling is accepted. In Writing, use full sentences — notes and bullet points are penalised. In the real test Speaking can be on the same day or up to 7 days before or after; here you may take a short break before it.
Scoring: Listening and Reading raw scores (out of 40) are converted with official-style tables; Writing and Speaking are graded against the four band criteria. Your overall band is the average of the four, rounded to the nearest half band.
Your score arrives with section scores, a breakdown by topic, your time on every question and each answer explained. Questions you miss join your review queue, and written and spoken answers get an examiner’s report.
