The learner profile: I can name the ten learner profile attributes, spot them in actions and stories, and sort skills into five groups.
The learner profile is ten ways to be a great learner and a good person.
Each of these ten words is an attribute: a quality that a person can show.
Let's find out what each attribute means.
Picture: A short text called "The learner profile" with a picture of a child: "We try to be inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective."
Here are three of the attributes: inquirer, knowledgeable and thinker.
Inquirers ask questions and find things out, like asking how bees make honey.
Knowledgeable learners know about lots of things and use what they know, like facts about planets.
Thinkers work things out and solve problems, like a tricky puzzle.

Here are three more: communicator, principled and open-minded.
Communicators share their ideas clearly, and they listen to other people too.
Principled learners are honest and fair, like owning up to breaking a cup.
Open-minded learners are happy to hear different ideas, and they respect other ways of life.
