Coursework and controlled assessment

By the end you’ll be able to

• Cambridge Component 5: plan two assignments of 600–1,200 words on different texts, one of which may be an empathic response, with titles that allow all four assessment objectives
• Edexcel International GCSE Paper 3: write the two coursework assignments (modern drama and literary heritage) that replace Paper 2
• CCEA Unit 3: prepare and write the Shakespeare controlled-assessment task under supervised conditions
