Quadratics, functions and defined operations

By the end you’ll be able to

• Solve quadratic equations by factoring, the quadratic formula or completing the square, and use the discriminant
• Use function notation, find domain and range, and compose functions
• Interpret graphs of functions and the effect of shifts and reflections
• Evaluate symbol-defined operations and custom functions (for example a ⊕ b = ab + a)
