Reading: Complete the Words, Read in Daily Life and Read an Academic Passage (25%) · Lesson 1 of 4
A C-test-style task that supplies about 30 of the 50 Reading items. A 70–100-word academic paragraph keeps its first sentence intact. From the second sentence on, the second half of every second word is removed, and you type the missing letters. Each paragraph has 10 gaps. The task tests word knowledge, spelling, grammatical cues and reading for meaning all at once.
