By the end you’ll be able to

Simplify expressions by collecting like terms and using index laws, and know the difference between an expression, equation, formula and identity
Expand products of two or three binomials, e.g. $(x+2)(x-3)(2x+1)$, and simplify the result (Higher for triple brackets)
Factorise by taking out common factors, and factorise quadratics $x^2 + bx + c$ and $ax^2 + bx + c$

Use and prove identities with the $\equiv$ sign, e.g. find $a$ and $b$ such that $3(x+a) + b \equiv 3x + 11$
