Qualitative organic analysis1 h 15 min of study

Assess hazards and risks and propose appropriate control measures, including safe handling, heating, disposal and use of personal protective equipment.

Evaluate experimental procedures and conclusions by identifying strengths, limitations, sources of error and specific improvements linked to the method or apparatus.

Apply synoptic chemical knowledge to unfamiliar contexts, integrating ideas from equilibria, energetics, kinetics, organic reactions, inorganic tests and analytical evidence.

Interpret extended practical or contextual information critically and communicate a logically structured answer that uses evidence to support judgments and proposed actions.
