- Part A Written Response (50%, designed for 3 h, up to 6 h): Assignment I Source Interpretation (20%; suggested 500–1400 words) and Assignment II Position Paper (30%: analysis of source, argumentation, evidence and communication, 6/8/8/8%; suggested 750–1600 words).
- Part B Multiple Choice (50%, designed for 2.5 h, up to 5 h): 60 source-based multiple-choice questions.
