The format, as published
- A computer-based, all multiple-choice test with three sections each weighted 33.3%: Reading (14 questions, 3 multi-part, 40 min), Mathematical Reasoning (35 Q, 40 min, no calculator) and Thinking Skills (30 Q, 30 min).
- There is no writing section, and the content draws on NSW curriculum up to Year 4.
- The test runs in May (8–9 May 2026 for 2027 entry, make-up 22 May 2026) and is held only in NSW.
