The format, as published
- A paper exam with a machine-scanned answer booklet for the MC reasoning tests, taking about 4 h to administer and 2 h 35 min of tasks.
- The sections are Mathematics and Quantitative Reasoning (60 min), Reading and Verbal Reasoning (55 min) and Writing (40 min, two tasks).
- Knowledge required does not exceed the Year 8 curriculum.
- The test is held in June (20 June 2026 for 2027 entry), with Round 1 offers in early August.
