The format, as published
- Four papers, each worth 25%.
- Reading is 45 min, 6 parts and 32 questions.
- Writing is 45 min in 2 parts of about 100 words each: an email, then an article or story (choice of one).
- Listening is about 30 min including 6 min transfer time, 4 parts and 25 questions, each recording heard twice.
- Speaking is 10–12 min per pair in 4 parts.
- Results are on the Cambridge English Scale 120–170: Grade A 160–170 (B2), Grade B 153–159, Grade C 140–152 (B1), and A2 for 120–139.
- It is available on paper or on computer with an identical format.
