The format, as published
- Four papers: Reading and Use of English (1 h 15 min, 7 parts, 52 questions), Writing (1 h 20 min, 2 parts: a compulsory essay plus one of several options, 140–190 words), Listening (about 40 min, 4 parts, 30 questions) and Speaking (14 min per pair, 4 parts).
- Reading, Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking each count for 20%.
- Results are on the Cambridge English Scale 140–190: Grade A 180–190 (C1), Grade B 173–179, Grade C 160–172 (B2), and B1 for 140–159.
- It is available on paper or on computer with an identical format.
