The format, as published
- Four papers, about 4 h in total: Reading and Use of English (1 h 30 min, 8 parts, 56 questions), Writing (1 h 30 min, 2 parts, 220–260 words each: a compulsory essay plus one task from a choice of three), Listening (about 40 min, 4 parts, 30 questions, heard twice) and Speaking (15 min per pair, 4 parts).
- The five skills each count for 20%.
- Results are on the Cambridge English Scale 160–210: Grade A 200–210 (C2), Grade B 193–199, Grade C 180–192 (C1), and B2 for 160–179.
- It is available on paper or on computer with an identical format.
