The format, as published
- Four papers: Reading and Use of English (1 h 30 min, 7 parts, 53 questions), Writing (1 h 30 min, 2 parts: a compulsory 240–280 word essay summarising two texts, plus one of three options at 280–320 words), Listening (about 40 min, 4 parts, 30 questions) and Speaking (16 min per pair, 3 parts).
- The five skills each count for 20%.
- Results are on the Cambridge English Scale 180–230: Grade A 220–230, Grade B 213–219, Grade C 200–212 (C2), and C1 for 180–199.
- It is available on paper or on computer with an identical format.
