The format, as published
- 4-period option that can be one of the two optional written exams or an oral subject.
- The former 2-period compulsory Biology course was replaced from S6 in 2024–25 by Science, Technology and Society (STS, 2 periods), which has no Bac exam.
- Orals last 20 minutes after 20 minutes of preparation.
- The final EB mark (0–100, pass 50) is made up of a preliminary mark from S7 coursework and pre-Bac exams (50%), 5 written exams (35%, 7% each) and 3 oral exams (15%, 5% each).
- Subjects are marked 0–10 in decimals (pass 5).
