The format, as published
- English as L2 is a compulsory written exam (duration unverified) and usually an oral exam for non-anglophone sections.
- It targets CEFR C1 by S7; students on the 3-period L2 Advanced course sit that paper instead.
- L3/L4 English exist as optional written exams at lower target levels (B1+ and A2+).
- Orals last 20 minutes after 20 minutes of preparation.
- The final EB mark (0–100, pass 50) is made up of a preliminary mark from S7 coursework and pre-Bac exams (50%), 5 written exams (35%, 7% each) and 3 oral exams (15%, 5% each).
- Subjects are marked 0–10 in decimals (pass 5).
